A large part of the shampoos contain SLS and parabens, but what is this? Why SLS and parabens are bad? Or is it all so bad?

SLS is also known as Sodium lauryl sulfate, Sodium laureth sulfate, or acetyl Sodium sulfate. SLS will be subject to sulphites. Why is SLS bad?

Generally, SLS has a drying effect, and it can be very aggressive for your hair and scalp. An undesirable effect of your shampoo. It can cause irritations of the skin and even hair loss have caused. Parabens in Shampoo

Besides SLS is also often parabens in shampoos. They are used as a preservative and ensure that the product has a longer shelf life. You see parabens often back in shampoos and conditioners. Just like SLS, parabens are very cheap to produce and therefore they are gladly used. A number of studies a connection was established between parabens and cancer. It was found that parabens mimic the action of estrogen through which a cancer may develop or grow. It is important to note that from these investigations to  no  firm conclusions can be drawn. More research is needed to find out the harmful effects of parabens.
